Reese Witherspoon attended the premiere of ‘Gone Girl’ in New York with Hollywood hair that had some serious old school glamour. The style beautifully complimented her dress and by creating a part to the side she could show off her dazzling earrings.

Get the look

Step one: Wash hair as normal and then part it to one side. Apply some heat styling spray to give hair some protection and then some volume mousse that will inject it with some extra body.

Step two: Blow dry hair in sections using a round brush to which will help to create volume.

Step three: Once your hair is completely dry, take a 1 ½ inch barrel curling tong and gradually work your way around the head creating some Hollywood waves.

Step four: Make sure that you let hair cool before you start touching it. Play around with the waves and when you are happy spray over with some weather control hairspray.

Reese’s hair and makeup was absolutely spot on for the 2014 Golden Globes. She managed to look sophisticated but also edgy and cool.

Step one: Having washed hair as normal, towel dry it to get rid of most of the wetness. Now that your hair is still slightly damp apply some frizz vanisher cream from the roots to the ends. The idea with this style is to get hair looking as sleek as possible.

Step two: Spray over some heat protection spray and then blow dry using a paddle brush, pointing the hairdryer downward as you dry.

Step three: Divide hair into sections and then run over each one with hair straightens to achieve a super straight, geometric effect. Once you have finished apply some serum spray to add shine, and tame any frizz and flyaways.
