For the premiere of ‘The Equalizer’ which was held at the 2014 Toronto Film Festival, Chloe Grace Moretz wore a modern up do that had an effortless look. This style beautifully complimented her structured Dior dress.
Get the look:
Step one: Apply mousse to damp hair from the roots to tips. With the hairdryer, roughly dry hair to around 90% dry and then use a round brush to slightly smooth it out until completely dry.
Step two: Take a one inch curling iron and create waves over the whole head. Once cool comb it through with your fingers. Now you can make a parting and fasten a section of hair at the front of your head using a clip.
Step three: Now, pull back the rest of your hair to make a low ponytail. Take the ponytail and roll it into a loose bun and fix it in place with bobby pins. The idea is to make sure that it doesn’t appear too perfect.
Step four: With the section of hair that you clipped up earlier, take that section and twist it back to make a pompadour shape. When you are happy with its position, secure it in place with Kirby grips. Pull out a few sections of hair to frame the face. To finish off mist over some flexible hold hairspray.
For the 2014 Teen Choice Awards, Chloe went with a relaxed, messy, bed head style.
Get the look:
Step one: After washing hair as normal, blow dry it brushing through with a ceramic brush.
Step two: Part and section hair off. Take each section individually and spray it with heat protection spray. Twist the hair away from the face and blow dry with diffused heat. Repeat until you have twisted each section.
Step three: After the sections have cooled, brush it our using your fingers. Take a 1.25 inch curling iron and select pieces of hair at random to curl in the opposite direction. Loosen the curls by pulling them down from the ends and blast again with diffused heat.
Step four: Next, spray hair with dry shampoo to give a messy texture, before finishing off with hairspray.
